Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) is an ASX listed copper company, with strong local presence in South Australia through our Kanmantoo Copper Gold Mine and regional exploration tenements. We are focused on safe, reliable and profitable copper production from the Kanmantoo underground mine.
Hillgrove has operated in South Australia since 2005 during which time it has developed strong operating experience with award winning positive stakeholder engagement, built up extensive technical knowledge about the region’s geological setting and mineral prospectivity, and become an active member of the South Australian mining and exploration community.
Located in the majestic Adelaide Hills, approximately 55km from Adelaide CBD, Kanmantoo completed open pit mining in 2020 and is now mining exclusive from the underground mine which commenced development in May 2023. The operation is well capitalised with a 3.6Mtpa processing plant and tailings storage facility with 7.0Mt of approved capacity.
In addition to the Kanmantoo operation, Hillgrove has a large land holding of granted Exploration Licences in South-eastern South Australia which are highly prospective for the discovery of economic copper deposits within a variety of geological settings (“South Eastern Copper Project”).
Through building a track record of predictable and reliable operational delivery, Hillgrove plans to earn the right to grow into a mid-tier Australian copper miner through organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
