Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) is a growing ASX-listed Australian copper producer with its heart in South Australia.
Located in the Adelaide Hills, just 55km from the Adelaide CBD, Hillgrove Resources has operated the Kanmantoo Copper Mine since 2005, completing open pit mining in 2020 and transitioning to underground production in 2024. The mine, within South Australia’s Tier 1 jurisdiction, has rapidly ramped up to an annual copper production rate of approximately 12,000 tonnes. It is supported by substantial existing infrastructure, including a 3.6Mtpa processing plant, and is connected to market via Port Adelaide, 75km away.
We are also advancing our growth pipeline through our farm‑in to the Mutooroo Copper Project in northeastern South Australia.
In addition, we hold 100 per cent of a series of Exploration Licences across the state and actively manage our tenement portfolio to focus exploration on opportunities capable of supporting long‑term production growth and value creation.
